The Raised Trouser is a customer favourite, and our longest running trouser  - cut from a trans-seasonal premium flax linen blended with a tiny amount of cotton and spandex for extra comfort, it arms you with a trouser which always looks good. 

It sits at the true waist.  With a hidden waistband, front pleats and deep side pockets.  A very flattering slightly tapered leg-line finishing in a deep cuff which can be folded up.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Nutmeg, Dark Star, Black, Sand, Walnut: The linen has a stretch to the lycra content. It will give an extra 2-3 cm  as you wear it, so it is better to size down rather than size up if you are between sizes.

The waist should be on the tight rather than loose side.

The perfect linen pant

What a beautiful pair of pants! I have a couple of pairs of linen culottes from Elk which I love, but wanted a pant that was a bit more tapered at the bottom. This trouser fit the bill. I ummed and ahhed about sizing and ended up going with the size 12. I am usually a 12 in bottoms (although a 10 in Elk linen for reference, their brand is more generous in sizing). I am so glad I went with my gut - they fit perfectly, up on my natural waistline. Skims over my hips and stomach, and doesn't bunch up weirdly at the front when I sit down. Super flattering with an elegant line. With a few washes the linen will soften and waistband slightly loosen which won't be an issue. The colour is a lovely brown and can be paired with a multitude of colours. The inside of the pockets has a sweet flowery pattern stitched in which gave me a lot of joy when I saw it. And yes, the pockets are deep! Hallelujah. You can wear cute boots or sandals with these. Perhaps even white sneakers to make it more casual. The linen feels breathable, soft, and warm. I can imagine wearing these in all seasons, but probably best suited to trans-seasonal wear particularly as they expose the ankles and lower leg when you sit. I can see these pants becoming a staple of my work wardrobe for many, many years to come!
A side note here, I had trouble with Australia Post as my parcel came to Adelaide and then all of a sudden was in the Northern Territory! Kristin was wonderful in following up with Auspost to figure out the issue (a scanning error which meant it had to be manually intercepted) and keeping me informed. Her customer service is second to none, thank you!

At Kristin Magrit we are a small all women team. We believe in collaborating with, and supporting other women and their businesses in any way that we can. We look first to our local community for supplies and manufacturing. Our makers are within 12 kms of our design studio. We work with knitters in Kristin's home country of New Zealand.

We believe you are your own artwork, and celebrate this by designing clothes you can make your own. Each piece is sewn individually from premium natural fibres, attention and care is poured into every piece, ensuring a beautiful and long lasting garment you will love.
