Our popular Sailor shorts now come in a mid-length.  Finishing above the knee. Our Oeko-Tex Certified Linen Shorts are made locally and ethically in Australia.

Our shorts are nice and light and flowy with a deep front pleat. They feature an elastic back for extra comfort and more adjustability in the waist.

Hello, I'm Kristin

I feel passionately about creating beautiful clothing which is entirely made from natural materials.

As a designer and a maker I believe in timeless not temporary - that the most sustainable garment is the one you love and wear often, and for years.

A combination of factors create a loved and treasured piece - beautiful and functional design, premium materials, thoughtful manufacturing and also the meaning and values inherent in the piece.

When this all aligns, then we feel completely ourselves, and so good in our clothing - ready to take on anything a day can throw at us xx

Every Single little detail is thought about from within the framework of ethics and sustainability. From our methods to our materials. Everything is constantly under scrutiny as we strive to do better. We also make in small batches to reduce waste. We aim to create forever pieces - designs that surpass trends and will be favourites in your wardrobe for years to come.

community

At Kristin Magrit we are a small all women team. We believe in collaborating with, and supporting other women and their businesses in any way that we can. We look first to our local community for supplies and manufacturing. Our makers are within 12 kms of our design studio. We work with knitters in Kristin's home country of New Zealand.

Artisanship & individuality

We believe you are your own artwork, and celebrate this by designing clothes you can make your own. Each piece is sewn individually from premium natural fibres, attention and care is poured into every piece, ensuring a beautiful and long lasting garment you will love.
