Knitwear care|

Merino Wool is very easy to care for. Wool is naturally stain resistant, odour resistant and crease resistant, it requires only infrequent washing.

To handwash | Turn inside out, handwash in clean, lukewarm water, approx 30C using a mild, gentle wool detergent.
Allow to soak for 10 mins before rinsing thoroughly first in lukewarm water and finally in cold water.

Dry flat on a towel (free from lint) carefully knead it by hand into the correct shape and size, smoothing folds and wrinkles.

Dry in fresh air out of direct sunlight and direct heat.

Knitted in Auckland, New Zealand by our small, family run factory, with great attention to care and quality.

Each piece is hand-finished individually.
Our knitwear is knitted on Japanese knitting machines with each panel shaped so there are no off-cuts - effectively designing out waste.

A sustainable garment is one with a long life-span, good design, combined with high quality natural fabrication is the key to a treasured piece, and that is our intention with our knitwear.

Merino Wool is the world's softest and finest wool. Our Merino is termed 'extra-fine' which means it is beautifully soft to wear and of the highest quality = it will last forever if you look after your piece well.

Wool is also beneficial to your health.
Wool is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and gentle on your skin. Wool also regulates your body temperature by keeping a pocket of air close to your body while also absorbing moisture from your skin. Keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter.

Merino Wool is natural, renewable, and biodegradable. We use Organic Cotton labelling in our knitwear and recycled and FSC Certified paper packaging materials to ensure every component is made from natural and easily recycled materials.

Wool has the longest history of re-cycling and re-use, as recycled wool produces high-quality yarns.

Size and fit

Fits true to size but with a flexible fit due to the stretchy nature of the knit structure.

Lauren is a size AU 8, 166cm tall and wears our size small.

S = 6 - 10
M = 10 - 14
L = 14 - 18

If you prefer a neater fit choose your usual size or down a size, if you prefer a more relaxed, slouchy fit choose a size bigger than your usual size.

We have tested the size large on up to a size 18-20 and it looked great.
