Our Very Useful Blouse features a mandarin style collar, which can be worn open, buttoned up, or folded back to create a v neckline and revers, so many styling possibilities. The sleeves are wide 3/4 length finishing in a generous depth cuff that holds when rolled up. Flattering gathering detail at the front shoulder and back neck, creating a relaxed body shape and a nostalgic twist to the cut.

Made from a beautifully soft and light, high quality Japanese linen, which feels joyful to wear.

Use a cool hand wash, or a cool machine wash delicate cycle, separately inside out, line dry, steam iron on the inside, dry cleanable. This is a high quality linen which will not shrink.

'-We keep manufacturing within our community - we make locally within just 12kms of our Perth based studio (low carbon footprint)

-We use natural fibres and components which will biodegrade and are healthier for us and the environment to wash and wear

-Our VUBS are made using Oeko-Tex 100 Certified Linen (French flax ,Japanese Made) and buttons made from sustainable River Shells, garment labels are all Organic Cotton

-Our packaging materials are made from post consumer recycled paper products and FSC Certified paper products (glassine bags) we strive to eliminate plastic from every part of our products.

Size Information

Sizing is true to size and with a relaxed cut. This shirt is flattering on most body shapes and works well even if you have a large bust.

It's always tricky purchasing on line, but I'm very pleased I did. The very useful blouse in chalk size 8 is a stunner, I team the blouse with black linen shorts also from kristin M , very simple and stylish. I'm now planning to purchase another in the seafoam. True to size and well made blouse. Supper fast postage to qld. Very happy.

This is my third VUB. Great fabric and design details and it’s wonderful to be able to support made in Australia. These shirts are so easy to style including worn over the top of a tank or singlet or camisole top as a light jacket. Also love to knot the front.

We look first to our local community for supplies and manufacturing. Our makers are within 12 kms of our design studio. We work with knitters in Kristin's home country of New Zealand.
