Our Very Useful Blouse features|

-mandarin style collar, which can be worn open, buttoned up, or folded back to create a v neckline and revers, so many styling possibilities.
-sleeves are wide 3/4 length finishing in a generous depth cuff that holds when rolled up.
-Flattering gathering detail at the front shoulder and back neck, creating a relaxed body shape and a nostalgic twist to the cut.

Made from a beautifully soft and light, high quality Japanese linen, which feels joyful to wear.

Materials

We keep manufacturing within our community - we make locally within just 12kms of our Perth based studio (low carbon footprint)

-We use natural fibres and components which will biodegrade and are healthier for us and the environment to wash and wear

-Our VUBS are made using Oeko-Tex 100 Certified Linen (French flax ,Japanese Made) and buttons made from sustainable River Shells, garment labels are all Organic Cotton

-Our packaging materials are made from post consumer recycled paper products and FSC Certified paper products (glassine bags) we strive to eliminate plastic from every part of our products.

Size Information

Sizing is true to size and with a relaxed cut. This shirt is flattering on most body shapes and works well even if you have a large bust.

Fabric rumples easily

I love the style, fit and colour of this blouse but if I wear it to work underneath a cardigan or jacket, it creases and rumples and doesn’t look nice when I get to work and take my jacket off. It might be okay in summer. I have other linen that is soft and flowy but this fabric definitely creases easily and will need ironing.

VUB

Have received the terracotta which is gorgeous. Will wear open as a throw over shirt in Spring or just as it is. I love the sleeves. Fit is generous. Could probably wear a 10 or 12. Will definitely order another in a different colour. Hard to choose which one. Thank you for being Australian made !!!

My favourite wardrobe piece. Love it so much I have 2 and tempted to get a third:) The fabric is beautiful. I’ve owned linen shirts in the past that were supposed to be top quality “French linen” but I’ve given them away. At Kristin Magrit we are a small all women team. We believe in collaborating with, and supporting other women and their businesses in any way that we can. We look first to our local community for supplies and manufacturing. Our makers are within 12 kms of our design studio. We work with knitters in Kristin's home country of New Zealand.

Artisanship & individuality

We believe you are your own artwork, and celebrate this by designing clothes you can make your own. Each piece is sewn individually from premium natural fibres, attention and care is poured into every piece, ensuring a beautiful and long lasting garment you will love.
